Mine didn't either but I did my 12K service with my buddy who has a TBS and those bikes come with a kit. I went to a Yamaha shop and bought a spark plug socket meant for some Yammie bike which worked on mine. The middle spark plug was too tight a spot to get the Yammie socket in so we used his that came with teh toolkit for that one. We plan on cutting down the Yammie socket a bit so it will fit in the center hole.
If you ask nicely maybe you can borrow your local shops socket? Cafetbird and TBStunta along with of course Mick can probably answer this question better so I will defer to them for a more authoratitive answer.
