The Sprint Sport/Executive/Trident/Trophy, all carry the same engine (Major torque down low and will run at 80mph all day long). They all have weak fork springs that you should have changed out for the correct tension. The major differences are obviously the body work. However, there are some not so obvious differences you should be aware of.

Suspension:

Sprint Sport - 43mm fully adjustable forks (same as Daytona/Speed 3)

Trident/Trophy/Executive - 43mm non adjustable forks.

Brakes:

Sport/Executive/Trophy - 310 mm full floating discs with 4 pot calipers (same as Daytona/Speed 3)

Trident - 296mm solid mount discs with 2 pot calipers (only model to have them other than classic range)

Rear Wheel/Tire:

Executive/Sport/Trophy - 17 inch to accomodate better choices.

Trident - 18 inch which limits selection (for the life of me why 18 inches?)

If you choose the Trident (I did) you should plan on changing the brakes out for the 310mm/4 pot variety.

Those are some of the differences, hopes this helps.
